I used a OBD11 Auto scanner by Actron and it stated a secondary injection system malfunction.The auto scanner reset the system I purchased a new gas cap and the system reset. But, the problem reoccurs. I check the gas cap and it gets loose.Do you think it is a fuse? I have 75,000 miles on the car.Thanks.
Hi, I own a 1995 Oldsmobile Aurora, it has that monster Northstar v8 engine. First, the car started to overheat, I thought maybe it was the Thermostat, changed the thermostat, wasn't it. Next, I changed the water pump, that wasn't it, still overheats. The radiator is fine, no problems with that. My next guess is the Coolant Temp Sensor, I am planning on replacing this part. Do you think that replacing this part would fix the overheating issue?
I have a 1999 Oldsmobile Aurora and am trying to replace the alternator. I have the it unbolted and the wires disconnected, but cannot get it out from under the car. What do I need to do to get enough room clearance to get it out? 4.0L V8 engine.
