2000 blazer 4x4 lost power to drivetrain going down the highway. No noise it just stopped getting power to the wheels. Coasted to a stop. No gear does anything. Engine drops in rpm a little when putting it in gear but nothing happens. Seems to be freewheeling almost.

Question: Hi there i just had the fuel pump replaced and fuel filter and coil wire they say they replaced and checked codes, it starts which is good cause the fuel pump just finally died. Once i have it started it may run a for a few minute or less and when i start going somewhere it still doing the hesitation.

Answer: By what you describe, this does not sound like a transmission problem, unless the engine is revving up fine but the truck is not moving. It sounds like the engine is either running very bad or has a bad misfire. Misfires or an engine with no power can be caused by a lot of things.

I have an idle problem. When I first start the car, the idle only goes to 800 rpm. After it warms up, as I am driving and approaching a stop, the car idles at 1100rpm. After coming to a complete stop, it stays there for two to three seconds, then goes to 600rpm.
Changed the bulbs on my plate lights and they still dont work. All my other lights work except my passenger turn signal blinks real fast. I would like to know how to fix this problem myself and what it is.
92 Chevy S10 4.3L vortec ,lealing gas from drivers side exhaust manifold. I have replaced the spider injector w/the hose`s and the feed and return lines leading to the spider injector and it still leaks gas bad.

This has been driving me crazy. I have a 1994 Chevy S10 Blazer. When driving it will die when I turn left, and only left. What it does is this : when driving and I turn left while giving it gas it will always die.

1. I replaced the fuel pump and now my gauge always reads full.
2. Replaced plugs and wires but engine still feels like it is chugging.
3. Getting very bad gas mileage, put 25.00 worth of fuel in and the truck died after 17L/49 km

While driving on the highway my Chevrolet Blazers engine just shut off. I pull over, wait a minute, then start the engine and continue down the highway again. A minute later the engine shuts off again. This happens 7 or 8 times. Everything is fine for a week then it did it again. Why is the engine shutting off?
