Question: Need brake rotor removal and replacement procedure information for my Hyundai.
Answer: This is an easy repair assuming you have tools. Jack the car up and support with jack stands. Remove the 2 bolts on the back side of hub / rotor area that holds the brake caliper bracket onto the knuckle. Use a large screwdriver to pry the caliper and bracket assembly away from the rotor. Now you can remove the rotor. You may have to use a hammer to free it loose. A large screwdriver on the back side of the rotor 180 degrees from where you are pounding will help free it loose. This is assuming there is no small screw holding it onto the wheel bearing / hub. It would be on the face of it between 2 studs. If so, remove that first.
Hyundai Engine Rattle Timing Chain Replacement
2009 Hyundai. Question: Done a bit of work on the engine to replace a broken piston when fixing the timing chain dropped the tensioner and now there is a rattling and ticking noise where the timing chain is. Don't know if the timing gears are wrong way cause fixed the main crankshaft gear with the dot on it pointing inwards. The timing chain is also loose now when i check it can the tensioner and misalignment of the gears be a problem ! Please help!
Answer: Absolutely. If the chain is loose, then that is most likely your noise. If you have the timing chain not timed correctly, this will usually cause the engine to not idle well, poor acceleration and a check engine light.
Isuzu Brakes And Other Lights Out

Question: When I have the headlights on at night, the rear right blinker, reverse, and brake lights will not work. But when the headlights are off, they all work. What's wrong?
Answer: You have one of the lights that is drawing down the entire circuit and causing your problems. When the lights are off, and everything works normally, the affected light circuit is not powered up and causing a problem. When you turn the lights on, where ever the problem exists is powered up or shorted somewhere and causing the other lights to no work properly. I'd start by checking all the bulbs on the vehicle and make sure there isn't a bad filament in one. Also check the wiring to and from each lamp socket and to the headlamp switch itself to see if there are any problems.
Have To Keep Foot On Gas
Hello I have a 91 Isuzu amigo... when I start it I have to keep my foot on the gas pedal to keep it running till it warms up.. Hover it takes about 20 minutes to do this after starting and stopping it... I am getting no engine codes to check .... I live on ssi and don't have a lot of money to take it to a shop. Can you please help with this problem.. Thank you
Answer: First you would need to have the engine computer scanned. When the check engine light is on, there are codes stored. You can have that done for free at most of the large national parts store chains
Your Isuzu could have any number of problems. It could have a bad throttle position sensor (TPS), bad MAP or MAF sensor, or more common is a throttle that is full of carbon and needs to be cleaned out. We have a video showing that. Just search us for "Clean carbon video".
