1993 Honda Civic Del Sol. Engine Size : 1,6 L
Question: Dear Sir /Madam. My car is running well but I can't start it in a cool or wet weather. A battery is new. After rainy night I must wait for several hours while it dried (or temperature got higher).

Is there any relay, responsible for that, or a condensate problem?
Thanks and Regards,
Anatol

Answer: This is a very common problem with hard or not starting when wet outside. The problem is that there are several things that cause this on your Honda. The most common is moisture in the distributor cap and rotor. Replacement would be needed to repair it. Also if the engine has not been tuned up in a long time, bad spark plug wires will also cause your problems. As well as a faulty ignition coil. I would suggest doing a complete tune-up with spark plugs, plug wires, distributor cap and rotor, air filter and PCV valve, then re-evaluate the condition.

Honda Civic Stalling

1999 Honda civic Engine Size : 1.6L
Question: The car was running great until about 6 weeks ago when it started stalling on me. It doesn't happen all the time but is enough that it's become a concern.
Most of the time it stalls I have been waiting at a red light. When I go to accelerate, it dies. A mechanic ran a diagnostic and couldn't find anything. He drove it around for awhile and still couldn't find any problems. He suggested I change the battery, which I did, but it still stalls out. Any help would be appreciated.

Answer: Replacing the battery would only help if your problem was an electrical concern. I don't know if it is or not. You may just have carbon buildup in the throttle, and it needs a good cleaning. Possibly also carbon is the idle air control. If a scan of the computer trouble codes turned up nothing, then it would be hard to diagnose. You could have sensor that is not reading correctly at times, but  not enough to set a check engine light, a loose wire under the hood that gets stretched when the engine moves upon acceleration, etc.
