Trailblazer Driver Side Window and Lock button

Window problem with my 2003 Chevy Trailblazer. Question = i am unable to use the driver's side window and lock buttons on the door panel. i need to know what might be causing this. also, i am unable to lock and unlock using my remote, as well as the key is stuck in the ignition.

i am unable to turn it back to the position where i can remove it.

Answer: First off, check all the fuses in the fuse box under the rear seat and under the hood. Sounds like you may have a blown fuse,or maybe more than one. If all fuses are good, then probable drivers door switch assembly. This is also called the drivers door module. it would need to be programmed after replacement if that were the problem.

I have a questions, I am having a problem with the driver window, it want go down. All of windows work fine, just the driver side. How to replace the fuse?

  • This is not a fuse problem. If there was a bad fuse, it would effect all of the windows. Youi either have a bad window motor, bad switch or a broken wire in the door. If you would have gave us the make and model of your vehicle, i could be a little more help.
