Question: Hi what to look for when head lights don't work All other lights do. Relay or a fuse? what is your advice?
The first thing you should check is the headlight bulbs. If they are known good, then start to check other easily accessible things such as fuses, relays, etc. Wiring should be checked from the headlamp switch to make sure you have power and ground, as you could possibly have a bad headlamp switch. Sometimes the headlight switch will even smell burned if it has failed internally. It would be wise to get a schematic to see which circuits are low beams and which are high beams and check with a test light at the switch to see if power is being sent correctly as you turn on and off lights and switch from low to high beams.
